About the Competition

Kala Sangama is a two-level inter-school drawing competition by ISKCON South Bengaluru — a warm, welcoming way for young artists to express creativity and connect with timeless values, in ISKCON’s 60th anniversary year.

Two Levels

Level 1 is held at each school. Level 2, the inter-school final, is held at ISKCON South Bengaluru on 29–30 August 2026.

Two Categories

Coloring for 1st–5th standard (drawing sheets provided) and Painting for 6th–10th standard on the theme “Nature is Our Teacher.”

Attractive Prizes

Winners take home exciting prizes — an electric cycle, tablets, robotics kits and smart watches. Register for just ₹50.

“Everything in nature teaches us how to live a meaningful and God-conscious life.”

Choose any one of the themes below and creatively express its message through your artwork, connecting it with Lord Krishna’s teachings.

Nature as Our Teacher

Caring for Nature

  • Need vs. Greed — Living in Harmony with NatureShow the difference between responsible use of nature and excessive consumption.
  • When Nature CriesDepict the effects of pollution, plastic waste and deforestation, along with solutions to protect nature.
  • Nature Gives, Humans TakeIllustrate how overconsumption harms nature and how we can become responsible caretakers of the Earth.

Drawing guidelines

  • Choose any one of the themes.
  • Connect your artwork with Lord Krishna’s teachings and the values of Krishna consciousness.
  • Creativity, originality and clarity of the message are considered during evaluation.

Juniors (1st–5th standard) do not need a theme — drawing sheets are provided for coloring.

  2. Level 1 — at your school

    The first level of the competition is held within each participating school.

  3. Shortlisting

    The top 3 coloring and top 3 painting entries from each school advance.

  4. Level 2 — the grand final

    The inter-school final is held at ISKCON South Bengaluru on 29–30 August 2026.

  5. Prizes & recognition

    Winners are celebrated and awarded attractive prizes for their creativity.

Seniors (Painting) choose any one of six themes under “Nature is Our Teacher,” connecting it with Lord Krishna’s teachings. Juniors (Coloring) are given drawing sheets to colour — no theme needed.
